Specialising in Counselling for Women, Men, Grief, Loss, & Athletes
Hi, I am Kim, and I am a registered social worker with over 25 years of experience with a focus on women’s health and navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, hormonal changes and their impact. I am dedicated to supporting women through the complex dynamics of PMS, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and the transitions through perimenopause and menopause. My own personal journey of infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, birth trauma, motherhood and midlife hormone changes infuse and my passion for this work.
My approach blends professional expertise with personal insight. I understand firsthand how these changes can affect your life and relationships, and I’m here to offer validation, guidance, and practical strategies to help you thrive. My goal is to help you move past old misconceptions, heal from past challenges, and embrace a vibrant, empowered future. Whether you’re looking to better understand your symptoms or seeking a supportive partner to help navigate these changes, I’m here to provide the insight and encouragement you need.
As a woman, wife and mother of 2 boys (almost adults – yikes where has time gone), I have developed a strong interest and niche for supporting men as they navigate the many challenges, demands and pressures they may experience. This includes how they are impacted by the infertility journey, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, parenting and … menopause – how they can show up for themselves and their partners.
